Can you provide a glossary, please?
The Rope Radar lives in particular from discussing what the corresponding terms mean to you and what gives them this meaning. I am also constantly surprised by the fact that I have blind spots when interpreting certain terms, which are revealed in a negotiation. So the glossary is missing by design.
Can you add the term XY to the radar? I think it’s missing!
I have already made changes to the radar in the past, but it remains basically as it is, as it has proved very successful in this form. However, if you really miss something, there is nothing to stop you from creating your own customized form of the radar as described on the download page.
Can I integrate the Rope Radar into my workshops?
Of course! You are welcome to present it as an example for negotiating sessions and also explain how you use it. After all, it is intended to help other people. I’d also be happy to hear from you how it went or if you got any feedback that could be interesting for me as well.
Speaking of workshops: do you give workshops on the Rope Radar?
Somewhat. I don’t offer official workshops, but I have given introductions in the past that lasted anything from ten minutes in a small group to over an hour in front of a larger audience at community events. So if I’m ever in the area and you’d like to do something like that, just reach out to me.
Can I create, publish and promote my own version of the radar?
You’re totally free to change the radar in which ever way it suits you best. But if you plan to officially release a different version of the radar and put your name on it, let’s talk about it first. While such a thing may very much be inspired by the Rope Radar and it’s underlying principles, it should apply to a very different area of negotiation and also add some new ideas to it 🙂
